My installation instructions are VERY detailed at 22 pages; it includes wiring schematics and 29 High Resolution pictures to ensure you do not have a problem installing my kit. It's not hard, I just added a lot of details so there is less chance of confusion. Kits are mailed in a Sealed Padded Polymer bag to prevent damage from moisture during shipping. All electronic components are sealed inside a separate Anti-static bag from the other components to prevent Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) from damaging them or shortening their life span. Be careful of other sellers whose instructions have vague directions and fuzzy pictures. My instructions match my exact kit along with 4 total feet of 5 different colored wires for an easy installation and a lower rate of mistakes and confusion. Yes, this kit will work on both types of Microsoft XBOX 360 Wireless Controllers.   Can I use this on XBOX Live? I have used it before on XBOX Live to test and it does work. Since it is a hardware modification and not a software modification, it does not follow under XBOX Live's rules. I DO NOT recommend using the buttons while playing on XBOX Live. This mod was designed for me and my friends to play in friendly local games. I am not responsible for any consequences if you use the mod feature on XBOX Live.   What exactly is this and how is it different than my regular controller? Once modified, this XBOX controller will have 2 buttons added to the underside, see the picture above.  Pressing either button will make the controller think you are pulling the trigger 24 times a second.   How much faster can I shoot in the game with this? You can only shoot as fast as the game allows. Certain sniper rifles are single fire and require a reload after each shot, other rifles have a slight kick back before it will shoot again. Most weapons like the 9mm or the Covenant Carbine in Halo 3 do not have a delay and will shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger. With this mod, you will be able to shoot like them like an Automatic.   Where are the buttons located and what do they do? The buttons are on the underside of the controller where the tips of your middle finger normally rest. When you press a button, a code makes the trigger think it is being pulled 24 times a second. When holding two weapons (Halo 3), you can press the left or right button to make the respective trigger shoot in full auto. Yes, you can press both buttons to activate both triggers and have 2 full auto weapons in your hands.   Do I have to hold the buttons down like other controllers to have rapid fire? Yes, once you release the button, the rapid fire shooting stops.  If you want a kit that shoots rapid fire with the triggers, see my other auctions.   Does the vibration feature still work? Yes, with this kit the rumble packs are intact and work. I tested with Halo 3, Gears of War and COD4, the controller still vibrates when you shoot.   If I use the Charge and Play cable, will rapid fire still work? Yes, with this kit the controller and the mod buttons will work with AA batteries, the rechargeable battery pack or the USB wire plugged directly to the XBOX 360 Console. Unlike some other kits for sale, you have every option possible for powering your wireless controller with this kit.   I heard with other modified controllers, you have to take the batteries out. Is yours the same? No, I have tested the connection points with e Digital Volt Meter. When the controller is off, there is no power being use unlike other kits listed on eBay. This kit will not drain your batteries when the controller is not being used.   Why is your kit a few dollars more than others I see on eBay? I have bought other kits and felt their instructions were lacking detail and was sometimes confusing. I ship my electronics in sealed Anti-static bags to prevent damage to the microchip and have a separate bag for other components. Others use plain envelopes and plain plastic bags for everything which has the potential to hold a static charge. A few dollars extra to make sure your kit arrives safe will mean a longer lasting product.   Beside eBay, what guarantee do I have?
