It is a straight forward easy to use converter with a selectable output of RGB or YPbPr via the VGA HD-15pin connector. It also incorporates a stereo L/R, 3.5mm audio breakout.  It will generate all the compatible digital to analog conversion signals to make the connection work between the digital input and the analog output without degrading signal or resolution quality. There is no in-built scaler, therefore the resolution output will be same as the resolution input, for example, a 1080i Digital HDMI input will be converted to 1080i YPbPr, RGB Analog Component Video output.  It will convert an HDMI video signal, from 480i to 1080i/p, with or without HDCP to analog YPbPr component video with equal resolution. The audio portion of the HDMI signal will be converted to analog L/R stereo audio. (HDCP is not present in analog format).    NOTE: If you plan on feeding your display a 1080i/p component video signal, please check with your manufacturer to make sure it can process this resolution via its component inputs. NOTE: Beware of similar devices out on the market that claim to provide the same type of conversion as they tend to have various algorithm handshake issues resulting in poor picure quality.
