This motion base simulates cockpit accelerations, vibration, turbulence, and other forces for a flight simulator, racecar or other vehicle simulator. Your cockpit is mounted on top of the motion base which rapidly moves it in pitch, roll and vertical using three high performance 18 inch stroke hydraulic cylinders. The motion base is capable of supporting cockpit weights up to 2000 pounds. Small, complete, high quality, high performance motion bases like this are rarely available. I purchased this unit several years ago for a flight simulation project that I had to discontinue. This motion base is complete including the welded frame structure, the bearing assemblies, three 18 inch stroke Vickers hydraulic cylinders with position sensors, 3 Vickers servo valves, hydraulic accumulator, oil cooler, hydraulic pump, and 3 channels of servo control electronics. Control interface is 3 channel proportional analog. The motion base is in excellent condition and was operational when removed from service. Power requirements are 220 VAC, 20 amperes, 60 Hz. Weight is approximately 1000 pounds and is on a wheel base. Dimensions are 4' tall, 5' wide, 6' long.
